Caroline John

Caroline joined Graphic Science in September 2012 to manage the Gloucestershire STEM Ambassadors programme and schools advisory service.

Caroline’s role is to build relationships with schools and businesses to create opportunities for inspiring and encouraging young people’s interest in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths subjects and careers.

Caroline works closely with businesses, visiting them regularly to recruit and train new ambassadors, provide support and ideas for schools engagement activities and managing networking events. Caroline also visits secondary schools and works with teachers from Science, Maths and Technology to advise them on opportunities available to them, including; ambassador visits, company led schemes and enhancement and enrichment activities.

Prior to joining Graphic Science, Caroline worked for Thinktank, Birmingham Science Museum. She held a number of roles there including Education Officer, Outreach Coordinator, Education Manager and Learning Projects Manager. Some of the projects she was involved in included the Big Bang West Midlands and the Public Engagement part of Birmingham Science City.

Caroline holds a BSc in Biology and Geology from Oxford Brookes University and an MSc Palaeobiology from the University of Bristol.
