May #SciCommLit – science online

This month we have moved #SciCommLit to a lunchtime. The next discussion will take place from 12pm-2pm on Monday 12 May and will again be looking at the Public Attitudes to Science 2014 report. This time we’ll be tackling chapter 5 Discussing science in a digital age.

For this month’s #SciCommLit, we’re going to be looking at the Public Attitudes to Science 2014 report – We’ve decided to focus on section 6.3 (p87) Trust in scientists. Since it’s such a big juicy tome, we’re planning to look at other chapters in future #SciCommLit sessions.

Project updates

Over the summer we’ve had a chance to take stock of our recent projects, so here’s a quick update: Smarter UK has been delivered to over 3500 students around the country. Everyone’s Energy is ticking over nicely and will be rolling out over the autumn. And there’s some interesting consultancy work too…
