We (Graphic Science Ltd) are the 2011-2015 STEMNET contract holder for two regions; Bristol, Bath and Somerset and Gloucestershire. This involves managing the STEM Ambassadors Programme and providing a STEM Advisory Service for secondary schools in these two regions.

• STEM Ambassadors are individuals who volunteer their time and energy free of charge to help teachers inspire young people (aged 5-19) in STEM – they can do this in a variety of ways; from illustrating specific careers or helping with classroom activities, to assisting in extracurricular activities such as clubs, challenges and competitions.
• The STEM Advisory Service provides secondary schools with impartial advice and guidance on a wide range of STEM E&E activities, helping them to identify which opportunities can best inspire their young people in STEM

STEMNET co-ordinates the Programme nationally and aims to bring the world of work to the classroom, shedding light on and demystifying science, technology, engineering and mathematical jobs, and their impact on our everyday lives.  For more information, please refer to www.stemnet.org.uk.
