In 2004, we evaluated the Royal Society's Science in Society programme, in collaboration with Laura Grant. The Royal Society's Science in Society aimed to bring together scientists and members of the public to discuss issues regarding cybertrust and information security. Three regional meetings were held in Bristol, Doncaster and Leicester, along with a workshop in Bristol, involving school students as participants. Graphic Science were engaged to assess the effectiveness of the programme in terms of the interaction between public and specialists and the substantive deliberation.
