Because fact is stranger than fiction!

Ben was assigned NESTA project supervisor for Flipside magazine, which is a popular fixture in school libraries across the UK.

Flipside is a must-read magazine for teenagers covering everything from movies, music and games to sport, wildlife and adventure, all brought to life with stunning photography. Flipside takes its readers inside the secret workings of everyday life, down to the depths of the oceans, out to the edges of the earth and up into space.

Flipside is produced by the Institution of Engineering and Technology with funding from the National Endowment for Science, Technology and the Arts (NESTA). It also has support from top organisations in science, engineering and technology, ranging from the Natural History Museum to the Royal Society.

As project supervisor for NESTA, Ben was assigned to work closely with the project to monitor progress and performance against contracted milestones, and to provide expert input into development.
