A series of two-day workshops for research scientists who wish to engage directly with public audiences.
The workshops were developed in collaboration with Ecsite-UK and were held in Science Centres across Britain. The programme was funded by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC), through a grant to Ecsite-UK. The workshops were developed and run by Ben Johnson of Graphic Science and Melanie Quin of Ecsite-UK.
Participating Science Centres included: Science Oxford, Oxford; National Space Centre, Leicester; Our Dynamic Earth, Edinburgh; W5, Belfast; Techniquest, Cardiff; TECHIQUEST@NEWI, Wrexham; at-Bristol, Bristol; Life!, Newcastle; National Museums of Scotland, Edinburgh; W5, Belfast.
We continue to work with Ecsite-Uk and also science made simple, in an expert partnership known as The Training Group, to deliver specially devised and newly refined Meet the Scientist type programmes.
